This past weekend our divers were fortunate enough to experience the true beginning of the diving season in Monterey and Carmel. The storms have passed and washed out the junk that has collected through to swells of fall and winter, and the upwelling has begun. Decreasing temperatures due to upwelling brings us the most pristine conditions for some truly epic visibility. Our advanced class that was diving February 27th and 28th reported up to 60ft visibility, and improving with the calming swell. So now is the time to join us and get in the water before it turns green we have many opportunities to take the plunge, including our First Friday dives, dives joining the OW class dives, AOW dives and our various trips.
We have some of the best trips coming up this year, starting April 4th we have the Cozumel trip with
a few spots still available for those who are yearning for some warm water and a care free week of drift diving the famous Cozumel walls. For those that are looking for trips a little closer to home we have the Memorial day trip aboard the Vision that visits the Southern Channel Islands, and the very special June Big Sur Trip aboard the Vision, this trip is a chance to dive the best undiscovered dive sites California has to offer. So don’t miss out on any of these chances to keep those dive skills sharp and also get to experience some of the best diving around.
