Group Swim Lessons
Our small classes (maximum of 4 per class) and personalized attention insure your child will gain the necessary skills for water fun and safety. All levels of instruction are offered throughout the day from 9am to 7:30pm (MW / TTh) and from 9:30am to 5pm (Sat / Sun), important to working parents and those on tight schedules. Children are grouped in classes by skill level and age. Our pool is kept very warm (90º) and we have a jacuzzi adjacent to the pool for play time before and after lessons. We have restrooms, hot showers and plenty of deck space for parents to sit and relax while their child is in class. Lessons are conducted rain or shine. Should it rain we have an indoor viewing area for parents to observe the lessons. Classes are offered twice a week for 4 weeks, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, or once a week for eight weeks, either Saturday or Sunday. Each session consists of eight 1/2 hour classes. Cost is $135 per session. More information is found in our complete 2014 Brochure and Calendar and our FAQ.
Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons
Our private classes are one on one and are held in our warm (90º) pool. The class moves at a pace that is comfortable for the student. Classes are set up on an individual basis, depending on instructor/students schedules and pool availability. Cost is $60 per half-hour lesson, or if you buy a package of 8 lessons it’s $360. Call (831) 458-3648 or email (swim at asudoit dot com) the swim office for more information. Private lessons aren’t just for children: There are many adults who never learned to swim as a child. At Adventure Sports we offer swimming classes to those adults who are motivated to learn to swim, or just want to improve their skills.
Adventure Sports Unlimited (ASU) has a program to introduce infants into our aquatic world. It will focus on our new tykes from ages 6 months to 3 years. The objective is to initiate children to water with the parents participating along with the instructor. The Infant/Family Swim Class has many wonderful advantages besides getting a jump on becoming one with water, including early childhood muscular development, growing new social skills, and increasing the parent / child bond. Your child may not be water independent through this experience but will be ready to jump into the group lessons when the time is right. This class is also economic because your child will probably start several levels up from the beginning. Plus, the journey will be a delightful experience for all. Classes are 1/2 hour long and offered Tuesday and Thursday at 9am and Saturdays & Sundays at 9am and 11am.
